Trademark protection

ATHLETEINME is a registered trademark that we have owned since 2006. Therefore, it is a violation to create web sites and blogs that use this name. Likewise, the creation of accounts/pages on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest that utilize this name are also a trademark violation.

What should I expect if I sign-up for your Health Coaching Service?

Our Health Coaching Service is ideal for someone who wishes to exercise at home, and, especially, for those clients who are out-of-shape and/or have medical concerns.  After an initial telephone interview, together, we will design an exercise plan.  You can interact with us via telephone and unlimited e-mail.  However, from our perspective, it is not a matter of encouraging someone to “do 3 more reps”, or pushing someone to exercise when they don't feel like it. We can design an exercise plan for you, but, at that point, motivation has to originate from the client. Our role, as we see it, is to provide you with the best exercise information and guidance you can obtain anywhere. During your membership, you may contact us (via e-mail) as often as you like with questions about your training program, advice about equipment, exercise-health issues, etc. (Refer to the Health Coaching section for more details on this program.)

What will happen when I sign-up for your e-newsletter?

Our e-newsletter will be sent to the e-mail address you indicate when you sign-up. There is no charge for this service. We will not share your e-mail address with any other party. The e-newsletter will keep you informed of new topics and features that we add to AthleteInMe.com®.  You can unsubscribe at any time.

Why don't you have discussion groups on your web site?

One of the reasons we developed AthleteInMe.com® was due to concern about inaccurate exercise and fitness information that already exists on the Internet. Our information is thoroughly researched and facts are double-checked for accuracy before being posted to the live site. We feel discussion boards would undermine this process.
